La misión es integrar la sostenibilidad a corto plazo como práctica natural en los hoteles de la ciudad, y comprometerse con la causa. De esta manera, el GHB quiere llegar a ser un actor referente en cuanto desarrollo y apoyo del Medio Ambiente en la ciudad de Barcelona.
Los objetivos de la entidad en esta materia se basan en desarrollar el Plan de Acción de Sostenibilidad; implicarse como GHB en campañas relacionadas con la sostenibilidad y el medio ambiente, así como difundir y ampliar el conocimiento de las acciones ligadas a sostenibilidad que se llevan a cabo desde el GHB y los establecimientos agremiados.
